National Roofing Manufacturers

Manufacturers whose products and contractor certification programs are available across the country, with program and tier names copied verbatim from their own contractor pages.

A national certification program is the same program everywhere, and that is what makes a tier name checkable at all: a contractor in Ohio and a contractor in Arizona claiming the same tier are claiming the same thing, and the manufacturer publishes the list either can be checked against.

National availability is a claim about the catalogue rather than about the shelf. Almost every company here sells through distribution, so what a contractor can actually buy this week is settled one layer down, at a branch.

Program names are national, availability is not

The advantage of a national manufacturer, for a contractor, is that its certification program means the same thing in every state — which is what makes a claimed tier checkable against a published list. Program and tier names on this page are copied verbatim from each manufacturer’s own contractor page for exactly that reason.

Availability is a separate question, decided by distribution rather than by the manufacturer, and freight is why some of the best-regarded roofing products in a given market come from a plant a few hundred miles away instead — the regional manufacturers page covers those.

What is missing here, and why

Some categories in this section are empty on purpose. Every entry above came off the company’s own website; where that evidence did not exist, the category was left empty rather than filled with businesses nobody had checked.

    • Ventilation, fastener and accessory specialists are not listed yet. Several manufacturers here make vents as part of a wider line, but no vent-only manufacturer has been through verification.

If you run a company that belongs in one of those gaps, or you have found an error in an entry above, tell us about your company. Listing is free and is not for sale.

    How to read these listings

Each entry records what a company publishes about itself, on the date it was read. It is not a recommendation, a ranking or a check of anyone’s work, and no company paid to appear here. Where a company publishes a figure about its own size, that figure is quoted as self-reported and linked to the page it came from.

Ownership in this industry changes constantly — distributors merge, manufacturers get acquired, brands get renamed. Where an entry knows about a change, it says so. Before you rely on a detail, follow the link and check it at the source.
