    What this document argues

A twenty-page, five-step guide — naming and business planning, choosing which roof systems to offer, technical training and manufacturer approvals, marketing, and profitability — published by a contractor network as a membership funnel. Its more substantial passages are the compliance checklist (entity registration, EIN and tax accounts, contractor licensing, insurance and bonding, fall protection and hazard training, keeping applicator approvals current) and its argument that a system should be judged on the whole assembly, not on material price.

Why a contractor cares. It reads as a starting checklist for a residential contractor moving into commercial work, and it is candid about what gets companies in trouble: promising more than the manufacturer's published requirements support, and letting applicator status quietly lapse.

Why a public adjuster cares. Very little. This is vendor marketing rather than authority, and it establishes nothing about what a policy owes. Its one crossover point is that warranty eligibility depends on credentials that expire.

A summary written by the National Roofing Directory, not an extract. The work itself is Choice Roof Contractor Group's and is not reproduced here.
